Makes: 45oz
For Sauce:
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Vegan Butter
- 1/2 Cup Flour - All Purpose
- 1/4 Cup Garlic Minced
- 2 Cups Non-Dairy Milk (Oat) Unsweetened
- 1 (8oz) Bar Simply V Plant-Based Cream Cheese
- 2 T Nutritional Yeast
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Cup Vegan Mozzarella
For Pizza:
- (1) 14 inch Par-baked or Fresh Made Pizza Dough
- 1 Cup Vegan Mozzarella
- Favorite mix of prepared vegetables
- Fresh chopped herbs
Instructions For Sauce:
- Place vegan butter in a medium to large sauce pan on medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic cook for 1 minute. Add flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in white wine, cook for one minute.
- Slowly whisk in the non-dairy milk, bring to a simmer stirring constantly.
- Whisk in Simply V Plant-Based Cream Cheese followed by vegan mozzarella.
- Stir in the nutritional yeast.
- Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Set aside for multiple uses - Pizza sauce, pasta sauce, fondue etc.
For Pizza:
- Use one 14 inch par-baked or fresh made pizza dough.
- Top with 2 ounces of sauce, spread evenly.
- Top with 1 cup of your favorite vegan mozzarella.
- Top with favorite mix of prepared vegetables.
- Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Finish with a garnish of fresh chopped herbs.
